How to read these tiers
Each tier lists colleges that have historically admitted students in that percentage or percentile range, based on widely reported previous years' cutoffs. This is a starting shortlist, not a guarantee of admission. Every college's actual cutoff moves year to year depending on applicant volume, seat availability, category reservation, and state quota rules, the same factors covered in our college admissions guide.
If you have an entrance exam score (JEE Main, CUET, or NEET) in addition to your board percentage, most private universities will consider whichever is stronger, so it is worth checking both.
