Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, formerly the All India Engineering Entrance Examination, is a national-level engineering entrance exam organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA). A good rank in JEE Main opens admission to the NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), and qualifying it is also the gateway to JEE Advanced for IIT admissions.

JEE Main Exam Pattern
JEE Main has two papers: Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech admissions, and Paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Planning admissions. Both are Computer Based Tests, except the drawing section of Paper 2, which is a pen-and-paper test.
