About this paper

This is the CBSE Class 12 English (Core) paper from the 2018 board examination, code 1/2 (Series SN, Set 2). It carries 100 marks over three hours and has 13 questions in three sections. Section A (Reading) has a passage on the kinds of rain in the Naga hills, a passage on how cycling boosts the brain, and a note-making and summary passage on city waste, composting and plastic roads. Section B (Writing) asks for an advertisement or invitation, a business letter or job application with CV, a debate or report, and an article or speech.
