About this paper

This is the CBSE Class 12 English (Core) paper from the 2015 board examination, code 1/3 (Series SSO, Set 3). It carries 100 marks over three hours and has 13 questions in three sections. Section A (Reading) has two comprehension passages, one on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and one on the true spirit of pilgrimage, plus a note-making and summary passage on hearing versus listening. Section B (Writing) asks for an advertisement or notice, a letter to the editor, a debate and an article. Section C covers Flamingo, Vistas and the long reading texts Silas Marner and The Invisible Man, with choices in most questions. This copy has the questions only, without solutions.
