If you studied ICSE or ISC, here's what you can apply for

CISCE (the council that runs ICSE and ISC) does not run a single large merit scholarship fund the way some state boards do — most ICSE/ISC students access scholarship money through the same central and private schemes open to every board, plus a smaller set of school- or diocese-run awards specific to the ICSE/ISC network.

What actually applies to ICSE/ISC students

1. Every central and private scheme listed in our main scholarships guide applies regardless of board — NMMS, CSSS, PM YASASVI, Reliance Foundation, Kotak Kanya, HDFC Parivartan, and Aditya Birla all evaluate by marks and income, not by board.
2. School and diocese-run awards. Many ICSE/ISC schools, particularly those run by Christian dioceses or trusts, offer fee waivers or merit scholarships funded by the school's own trust. These aren't publicly listed — ask your school's accounts or principal's office directly, and ask before the new academic year's fee cycle starts.
3. Merit-based fee concessions at the school level. Several private ICSE/ISC schools reduce fees for the top rank-holders in their own Class 10 batch entering Class 11 at the same school. This is a school policy, not a government scheme, so eligibility and amount vary entirely by institution.
4. Rank-based scholarships for entrance exam qualifiers. If you're an ISC student who also qualifies for JEE, NEET, or a state CET, several private universities (VIT, SRM, Manipal, Amity, among others) offer merit scholarships based on your entrance rank rather than your board score — worth checking even if you didn't top your board exam.

Why there's no single "ICSE scholarship portal"

CISCE is an examination board, not a state government — it does not administer welfare scholarships the way state education departments do. Any website claiming a dedicated "ICSE scholarship 2026" with an application fee is not an official CISCE program; CISCE's own scholarship-adjacent activity is limited to occasional merit certificates, not cash awards.
