About this paper

This is the CBSE Class 10 Science question paper, code 31/3 (Set 3), from the 2018 board examination. It carries 80 marks over three hours plus 15 minutes of reading time and has 27 compulsory questions in two sections. Section A has 21 theory questions worth one, two, three and five marks, and Section B has six two-mark questions on practical skills, such as a leaf peel to observe stomata, a V–I graph for a resistor and the reactivity of metals. Internal choices are given in three three-mark and two five-mark questions in Section A and one question in Section B. The paper covers the full-year syllabus, and includes a value-based question on the garbage mountain collapse in Delhi. This copy has the questions only, without answers.
