ICSE 2016 Mathematics Question Paper for Class 10

About this paper

This is the ICSE Class 10 Mathematics paper from the 2016 examination, code T16 511. The writing time is two and a half hours, with the first 15 minutes for reading only, and mathematical tables are provided. All working must be shown on the same sheet. Section A (40 marks) is compulsory and has Questions 1 to 4, on the remainder theorem, matrices, mean and median, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, mensuration, an inequation, circles and probability. Section B (40 marks) has Questions 5 to 11, of which any four are to be attempted, including a quadratic equation, a savings-bank account, compound interest, constructions, an ogive, heights and distances, VAT, a scale model of a ship and shares. 6. A model of a ship is made to the scale 1 : 300. The length of the model is 2 m. Calculate the length of the ship.
