ISC 2018 English Language Solved Paper for Class 12

About this paper

This is the ISC Class 12 English Paper I from the 2018 board examination. The time allowed is three hours, with an extra fifteen minutes for reading only, and all four questions are to be attempted. Question 1 is a composition of about 450–500 words on any one of six subjects, for 30 marks, and a written answer is printed for the options. Question 2 asks for an account of about 300 words of a cultural programme, and Question 3 covers sentence transformation, suitable words and verb forms; both are followed by answers. Question 4 begins a comprehension passage in which the narrator, listening in Lord Otori's house, realises someone is climbing the wall, but the scan ends before the questions on the passage.
